About Us
Analytical
Value is not a traditional professional firm—we
don’t do audits or tax returns, and we don’t
sell packaged solutions. We work with management
and their existing advisors to diagnose problems
and plan affordable paths to problem resolution.
We understand that our skills and experience
will frequently be requested for stressful
situations. Accordingly, we dedicate significant
senior level resources to the day-to-day
execution of each engagement. (check out our
professional certifications here ).
Whether the problems come from cash flow constraints, growing too fast, or challenges extending beyond the scale of in-house capabilities, Analytical Value is there to help.
Our targeted analytical skills provide meaningful assistance in non-routine assignments, ranging from intellectual property and intangibles valuation and impairment testing to calculating business value or commercial damages in a contentious environment. We have the imagination and creativity to see solutions where others see only problems, and the dedication and determination to reach those solutions.
As the saying goes, “When you’re up to your waist in alligators, it is tough to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp.”
Analytical Value can give you the tools and immediate support you need to deal with your alligators, but can also provide the monitoring and long-term guidance necessary to get the swamp drained, too.
Examples to support this statement include:
- Our team has assisted auditors by conducting fraud examinations and system validations in parallel with the first-year audit of an established non-profit whose Chief Financial Officer resigned after he could not document his answers to routine audit questions.
- We have served as replacement financial managers to assist companies through cash flow crises, and have helped companies recover value from distressed assets.
- In a recent engagement, Analytical Value supplemented the business valuation efforts of a full-service accounting firm with our specialized knowledge of intellectual property valuation and bankruptcy court reporting requirements.
