that focus on what the company does best. We have assisted very successful
companies in presenting themselves to external buyers to optimize value in
generational transfer. In one long-term engagement, Analytical Value
professionals worked with a Northeastern printing company to present their
ongoing value to a national audience of prospective buyers even after the
deleterious effects of September 11, 2001 on advertising and print markets.
Despite a 50% decrease in business volume during 2002 and 2003, we were able to
coax substantial offers from a number of qualified buyers.
